Tips to Make Pop Up Banners Stand Out During a Trade Show

January 26, 2019 by Ian Leave a Comment

Trade shows and conferences could be chaotic. Imagine having dozens of businesses setting up their booths for the event. Depending on the size of the site, there could be thousands of guests coming at any given time.

If you accepted the invitation to attend the event, you need to make sure that you are not wasting your time. Set up your booth to make it attractive and entice people to come over. You also need a pop up banner stand because you cannot ask everyone to come over and ask questions. Even if they want to, the number of staff you send for the event might not accommodate all of them. With the help of banners stands, people can receive information. They can also visit your website or call you if they want to know more. Remember these tips when designing the banner stand, to make it stand out.

Highlight something interesting

People feel attracted to banners that have something to offer for them. If your company has upcoming promotions or deals, you need to have them on the display. People want to know about these deals, and they know that attending this conference offers them a unique chance to receive such information. If the banner does not have something significant, people will pass by and move on to the next stand.

Do not be afraid to use colours

There are tons of colourful banners during these events, and you do not want to use something dull. These colourful banners are like magnets that attract attention. When people see colours from afar, they might feel curious to come over and read more. Even if they did not like the information they read when they came over, at least you made them come.

Use real people as models

Some companies prefer using celebrities as models. If you have enough money to pay for these personalities to represent your brand, you can do it. However, even if you do not hire real models, you can still entice people. By using authentic models, who are ordinary people, you will have the chance to attract attention. Everyday people can relate to these models, and it is a smart marketing strategy.

Use stunning images

Do not highlight the name of your brand on the display stand. People will not find it interesting. However, if you use an image like a cartoon character pointing at your board, you will attract attention. You can also use a complex image that people will only understand if they come closer. Do not settle for anything less with images since it is your chance to entice people.

You can ask your employees to brainstorm with you as you design the display stand. They might have some ideas that are useful. After receiving the first draft of the banner, you need to take a step back to check what could be wrong. You can ask everyone in your team if they feel satisfied with the final design before printing it.
