What is depression?

People with depression will either have reduced appetite, which will cause weight loss or sudden cravings for food, which will add extra pounds to their body.
- Suicidal thoughts :
Depression can make a person feel useless, and at the time, make them indulge in self-loathing. When the same is stretched for a long time, this can make the person suicidal.
- Loss of interest in day to day activities :
Depression can kill interest in daily activities, which might include the simplest activity of getting up from the bed. Any hobby seems to be of no use.
- Sudden emotional breakdown :

- Irregular sleeping patterns:
Excessive sleep or insomnia both can happen due to depression.
