Of course, we can save electricity and water, start sorting rubbish, but also implement eco-friendly cleaning!

As with many things, the first steps are usually the hardest. Many people want to change something, but they don’t know where to start. We advise – focus on your home and your consumer habits first. Here are our eco-friendly tips for home and short recipe on how to better take care not only of the environment, but also of our health.

Choose recycled and recyclable packaging

The packaging in which the products are sold is really an important issue. According to an expert in rubbish removal Bondi landfills are filling up with rubbish that can be recycled, you can start to fix this by checking labels and making sure you recycle everything can be recycled. Additional benefits of recycling are reduced pollution, raw materials and energy that goes into manufacturing new products, as well as reducing landfill and pollution of the planets natural habitats.

That’s why the first of our eco-friendly tips is – it’s worth checking whether the packaging in which the product is sold is recycled and recyclable. Thanks to this, we can be sure that it’ll have more than one life!

Don’t buy a new one – refill the old ones!

Supplementing full-size packaging with refills can reduce our home production of garbage. Now many eco-friendly home cleaning products offer this option with a double benefit! In addition to reducing the amount of rubbish we produce, it can also save our money, because refill packaged products are usually much cheaper than full-size bottles.

Discover power of green ingredients

It’s time not to judge a product by its packaging, but also by its interior. The real pillar of eco-friendly home cleaning is following one important rule – the compositions should be as natural as possible. You worry about the effectiveness? You don’t have to at all.

The nature is able to deal with all mess as good as traditional cleaning products and even better. Why exactly? Because you won’t find dangerous substances inside their bottles such as phosphate or ammonia, which really harm the environment after they flow down pipes into water reservoirs.

Additionally, eco-friendly home cleaning products are less allergenic than traditional chemical household cleaners. Forget about irritated hands and skin problems.

Use reusable cleaning tools

Eco-friendly living tips include also tools useful during cleaning. On the occasion of spring-cleaning, it’s worth abandoning disposable paper towels, which end up in the trash bin in excess. What to choose instead of them? We suggest reusable microfiber cloths, which are much more effective. They are easy to wash and can serve us for a long time, because they’re extraordinary durable.

Microfiber absorbs dirt and moisture without any effort and is suitable for use on even the most delicate surfaces. It’s possible thanks to its special structure. Their fibers are so thin, that it’s estimated that they’re 100-times thinner than a human hair, so they’re able to absorb even the smallest particles of dirt.

Traditional air freshener? No, thanks!

Air fresheners contain many dangerous components, especially harmful to our health. Do you know that they can cause many problems connected with respiratory system and even asthma? Formaldehyde, phthalates, petroleum distillates – such chemicals are most often hidden inside the traditional air fresheners.

By replacing them with natural solutions, such as natural essential oils, you can not only have a beautifully fragrant home, but also maintain good health.

These are just a few examples of how to make your home a little greener. Eco-friendly cleaning tips are small steps towards a big change. Keep going, because it’s worth it. Both for the environment and for your health.
