There are certain toys that excite parents just as much as their kids. It is often tough to figure out who the gift was for because the parents are usually tearing away at the package as much as their child with a huge smile on their face. Here are some great gift ideas for your kids that you will also love to play with!
Frisbees
Bring a Frisbee out of the house and before long, all of your kids will be running around the yard wanting you to throw it to them. The problem often arises when they try to throw it back to you. It quickly turns into a game of patience as you probably will have to run after their errant throws every time. It takes a few hours before someone gets better at throwing around the Frisbee. And after this time, if they still aren’t any good at it, it may be time to give them a ball to play with instead.
Nerf Guns
To say Nerf guns have evolved in the last five years is putting it mildly. You can find single shot Nerf guns, automatic Nerf guns, and even assault-style Nerf guns where you hardly ever have to reload. It would be a good idea to buy Nerf guns (notice guns is plural) and give every single person in your family one of their own. If you don’t, then this would be when the real battle would begin.
Video Games
You may purchase a couple of video games for your kids, but you will play it just as much as they will. Of course, you will do it slyly after they go to bed each night or are at school. Video games seem to be more for adults nowadays than children. Just be sure to make certain that these games are appropriate for your children! If one more parent complains about how they didn’t know what Grand Theft Auto was about…
Remote Control Vehicles
If you give your kid a drone, they won’t get a chance to touch it at least for the first three hours as you zoom around above your neighbors’ houses. The same can be said for remote control cars as well. Some of these cars can zip by so fast on paved streets that you barely can see them. It is quite the change of when we were kids and we became excited when a remote control car would barely creep around at a snail’s pace.
