Why Xbox is Better Than Nintendo Switch

June 28, 2022 by Ian Leave a Comment

Microsoft has released its flagship device, the Xbox One S, and it has a lot to offer. While Nintendo continues to release consoles with older hardware, Microsoft is working on a brand new hardware generation. Without a doubt, Xbox consoles outdo Nintendo Switch when it comes to features. Below are our reasons why Xbox is better than Nintendo Switch.

Why Xbox is Better Than Nintendo Switch

1. Game Library

The Xbox One console offers more games than any other aus online pokies game system that we’ve seen so far. There are over 100 exclusive titles available for purchase right now which is unmatched by any other platform. When you factor in all of the third-party games, there are thousands upon thousands of titles available to download. It really does seem like Microsoft has an endless library of games that they can continue to add to forever.

Nintendo Switch doesn’t come anywhere close to this. Even if we take into account 3rd-party additions, you’re lucky if you’ll find 10 or 20 games on each system that you care about. The Switch might have a bigger library overall, but the quantity is nowhere near what’s offered on the Xbox One.

This also extends to independent developers as well. For example, if you want the recently-released Minecraft: Windows Edition Mojang has not made its title compatible with the Nintendo Switch. This means that you will have to wait until the next generation of video cards, otherwise be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars just to get your hands on one copy.

2. Streaming Games

If you’ve ever used the Netflix streaming service while playing on new casinos online UK, you know how useful it is. With Xbox Live, you can stream games from the cloud and play them directly without downloading them onto your gaming PC. Not only are you able to play these streamed games on your TV, but you can also use controllers to navigate through menus and select options.

You don’t even need to own copies of these games – you can watch, pause, fast-forward, rewind or skip through anything. Some people may see streaming as cheating, but it certainly isn’t because there are no physical media involved. It’s more like playing a movie stored online. In fact, many services such as Google Play Movies and iTunes Store allow users to do exactly that.

There aren’t any similar functions available on Nintendo Switch yet. There are third-party apps that let you save games locally, however, but they’re pretty much limited to party games since the main application (the eShop) requires you to connect to the internet whenever you launch it. As long as your connection is up though, you should be good to go.
