Suggested Packing List When Going to a Desert Country

June 28, 2022 by Ian Leave a Comment

Going to a desert country means you’ll be spending time in a hot climate playing games at best online casinos. This means you’ll want to bring along some extra clothes and other items to stay comfortable.

You don’t want to forget anything important when packing for a trip to a desert country. Make sure you include these things in your packing list.

Suggested Packing List When Going to a Desert Country

1. Sun Protection

As we’ve seen before, the sun is the main factor that can cause skin damage so it’s very important to remember to use sunscreen. You may want to bring along your own as well if you think your hotel won’t have any available.

If you’re planning on being outside for a long period playing best online casino game, you might also consider bringing along an umbrella or parasol instead. These are great in places where there isn’t much shade. If you need one but aren’t interested in lugging around an umbrella all day then you could always get one from your resort or accommodation.

2. Sunglasses

Sunglasses protect your eyes from harmful rays by filtering out ultraviolet light. The more UVB blocking ones you buy, the better. Remember to not go for the cheapest ones possible. It will cost you more in the long run. Also, make sure they fit comfortably and allow you to see clearly without having to constantly adjust them.

3. Hat/Cap

A hat or cap protects your head while keeping some heat off your face. Wearing one that has a visor helps keep the sun off your nose and forehead too. A wide-brimmed hat is best because it can block both the sun and dust.

4. Water Bottle

When traveling to a place with extreme temperatures like deserts, water bottles are essential. They’re easy to carry around and ensure you don’t drink tap water which contains bacteria that can become dangerous in such environments.

To prevent this, make sure you clean it thoroughly after each use. Even though bottled water may seem like a luxury item, it’s safer than drinking untreated tap water.

5. Clothing

Depending on how warm the weather is during the day, you may want to wear light clothing to avoid overheating. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wear something that keeps you cool.

For example, it wouldn’t hurt to layer up by wearing at least two tops. Then add another top underneath that and a pair of pants beneath that. You can then take off whichever layers you feel uncomfortable wearing when you want to rest during the day.
