Things People Do Not Think About When Planning All-Inclusive Resort Stays

March 1, 2019 by Ian Leave a Comment

The all-inclusive resort stay is something many want right now. It is really simple to understand why since everything that you need from your vacation is included in just one package. Just check Capital Resorts Group deals and you quickly see some things that you surely love. However, not all the all-inclusive resort deals are equal.

Fortunately, there are many articles written online about how to plan all-inclusive resort stays. Unfortunately, most focus on the exact same things. This is why we should highlight some things that are rarely considered and that can simply make your planning a lot better.

Bring Savings

You have to read the contract’s fine print when referring to extras like internet or phone, transfers, liquors, gratuities and so on. There are resorts where employees are not allowed to accept a gratuity. However, you are expected to slip some money to your bartender from time to time. In other resorts, staff is fired when tips are accepted.

Also, although you might see that all alcohol will be included, in many cases this just includes some cheap beer and wine. The better liquor can be expensive and you can end up having to pay a lot for it.

Is The All-Inclusive Resort Appropriate For Your Family?

The all-inclusive resort deal is wonderful for family trips. In many cases there are activities available for people of all ages, including really young children. The problem is that many expect this to be a reality when it is not always the case. Always compare resort options since there are some that will just put children in front of the TV set. In other resorts you might have access to kayaking lessons for children. Learning what is included for the entire family can only make the trip a lot better.

See What On-Site Activities Are Available

Talking about activities, many tourists think that at an all-inclusive resort there are not many possible on-site activities since the focus is put on relaxation. This is incorrect. The really active vacationer can find incredible deals when carefully planning. There are numerous resorts with on-site activities and classes like water aerobics or salsa dancing. See what is actually included and what would be available for an extra fee.

Destinations and brands have to be compared in order to find the best possible deal for what you want to do while at the all-inclusive resort. When the activities included in the price are some that you do not want to be a part of, you do not get really good value for the money you pay. It is better to look somewhere else. This is especially the case with honeymoon deals. If the couple just wants to relax and is not interested in water aerobics, the lessons are wasted, even if it is paid.

Since you are looking at activities, be sure you also check out what package deals are available. There may be some bundles for transfers, the resort and airfare when you buy from a specific operator or all-inclusive resort agent.
